We took several shots with the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, iPhone 13 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra to give you a comparison of the photos above. Which is better ? It’s up to you to tell us by voting!

The Xiaomi 12S Ultra caught everyone’s attention when it became official. However, enthusiasts were no doubt disappointed to learn that the phone was not intended for the French market. Without wanting to rub salt in the wound, we wanted to show you a taste of the image quality offered by this beast that benefits from a one-inch main sensor – with 50 megapixels definition – and the expertise of a giant Leica.

With this in mind, Xiaomi France was able to lend us the only copy in their vaults for comparison. So here’s the Xiaomi 12S Ultra versus the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra to see which of the three is the best smartphone for the photo. But it is up to you to vote!

Picture comparison: the rules of the game

Below, you’ll find nine scenes filmed with the three smartphones, Xiaomi 12S Ultra, iPhone 13 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. For each scene there are, logically, three images. You are the one who will have to vote for your favorite photos, but without having any clue as to which camera took which photo. We have also removed the metadata (Exif) from the images so as not to make your task easier. The goal is to avoid bias in your selection.

How do you vote? It’s simple, the three images will be arranged at a time side by side in a gallery. The image on the left will correspond to number 1, the image in the middle with number 2 and the image on the right with number 3. You can refer to the next diagram.

For each scene, you will find a polling unit where you can vote (1, 2 or 3) for your favorite photo.

When will the results be announced?

The results will be revealed one week after the publication of this paper, around Friday, July 29. We will evaluate together to see which smartphone has won the most votes. Xiaomi 12S Ultra, iPhone 13 Pro Max or Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
